Cardiac back stress syndrome presents as low back pain, which may occur with or without symptoms resembling sciatica. It can also involve pain in the upper neck. A common characteristic of this condition is that the individual is experiencing physical or emotional stress. This often leads to a flattening of the lumbar curve and stiffness in the lumbar region and across the base of the sacrum, particularly when lying down. Additionally, both gastrocnemius muscles may be tender and hypertonic. This protocol aims to reset the cardiac circuit, and there may also be a need for emotional clearing. This syndrome is frequently observed in clients who are in a fight-or-flight response and have an active Moro reflex.
